The Emory Canal Trail is a 1.4 mile paved path along the Emory Avenue Canal in Kissimmee from Vine Street/US 192 to Ernest Street. It connects to the Kissimmee Loop Trail midway at Martin Luther King Blvd., which in turn links to the Shingle Creek Regional Trail. It runs through residential neighborhoods and past Oak Street Community Park with its recreational facilities. (Map and photos below.)

We visited the trail from north (Vine St./US 192) to south (Ernest St.). The trail is mostly along the canal, except for a portion between MLK Blvd. and W. Mabbette St. where it runs as a sharrow along the road or on the widened sidewalk. It crosses from one side of the canal to the other as needed, usually at intersections.
