The two-mile trail is an easy ride with access to park amenities including a marina, fishing piers, swimming beach, restaurant, picnic tables, a playground, and riverboat tour. As the trail is heavily used, be careful of pedestrians. An unpaved walking path extends the length of the canal across from the paved recreational / biking trail.
